My Cafe In Manuka
Yep, agree with the other 2 reviews. A solid flat white and tasty muffin hit the spot this morning. Temperature of coffee was probably a fraction low for me, but then again I do tend to go for the molten hot magma style. Nothing too flash but got the job done.
My Café is a mainstay in the Manuka café scene, open 7 days, and attracts quite a regular crowd. Their coffee is made using Ona beans and done reasonably well (though it can taste a little flat), and their food, while mostly a standard café-style menu, is nicely made (if a little pricey for what it is). Probably one of your safer options for a coffee in Manuka.
Word of warning to the chai drinkers: their chai latte is expensive and *enormous*. If you’re not liking to fill your belly with milk, perhaps try asking for a version that is a little less giant.
My flat white definitely hit the spot, although given the awful weather I probably would have been happy with anything hot. The coffee wasn’t spectacular but smooth and strong enough.
