Bar 9
Anticipated my visit to bar 9 for months before finally making it here. And it lived up to expectations. Lovely, helpful staff and a perfectly served black label house blend coffee. Bought some beans on my way out and will be back again
Ritual. Looks very unassuming from the exterior, but once inside you know you’re in good hands. Beans work a treat in the home machine too - Black Label.
Coffee hipster central, 5 Senses beans, big old benches and superb double ristrettos.
Bar 9 sets the bar pretty high for the Adelaide coffee scene.
I agree with all the other reviews. The best coffee I’ve found in Adelaide so far (thanks Decaf Sucks).

Simply amazing coffee and service, not much more needs to be said. You’d struggle to find better coffee in Adelaide.
With new, much larger digs on Glen Osmond Rd, Bar 9 is positioning itself as Adelaide’s premier coffee experience. I’m a long-time fan of Ian and his dedicated team of coffee aficionados and the consistently excellent product they put forth.
The service is friendly and prompt. The Synesso brewed espresso consistently impresses and it’s the cornerstone of my morning ritual. The house blend (Bar 9 uses 5 Senses coffee) is probably different to what the average cafe offers, but I think that very fact makes it more special. It’s unashamedly not the same as everywhere else.
Remember… Friends don’t let friends drink Cibo coffee (“The Pizza Hut of coffee chains!”).

Thanks decaf sucks for helping me find this place. Chilled vibe and they served me a strong, full bodied single origin coffee with speed and an unnessersary apology for lack of sugar sachets. This will be a place of preference when meeting in the area.
