An awesome experience centred on the sole purpose of enjoying coffee. Lovely light-filled interior, coffee is made with much love.
Spectacular. The folks at Market Lane obviously take their coffee-making very seriously. A lovely light roast, but still packed with flavour and some wonderful caramel notes to finish.

This is the second Market Lane outlet – the original is at the Prahan Market, and is where the roasting is done. This new Victoria Market cafe serves both espresso and pour-over coffee, as well as selling a range of beans and coffee accoutrements. I’m yet to try the pour-over, but the La Fany espresso, which I had yesterday, was sensational – fresh and slightly citrusy. Serious coffee.

This is a cute little cafe, they made me a delicious take-away long black this morning. They even asked me how much water I’d like in it, and it wasn’t stupidly hot like every other long black I’ve had in Melbourne. I’ll probably try them again.
