Atomica
Best coffee I’ve had in Melbourne so far. I’ll be heading back here for sure.
My experiences has only been positive here. I’ve had some coffees that have bordered on too strong if that is even possible. Ballsy and rich brew.
I’d heard good things about Atomica. It seems though I was misled. Bland, weak, and a consistency not dissimilar to dishwater.
These guys roast their own coffee (and you can buy beans from them), and it’s got great flavour, but for sheer c*ntish attitude, you really can’t go past the staff here. If you get the right barista on the right day, you get pretty excellent coffee, but it’s very unreliable – they’re just as likely to get your order wrong, blame you for it, and then short-change you. Meh.

Consistently good coffee. Although the blend is quite soft so if you like coffee on the stronger side ask for a double shot.
If your going to eat the chicken schnitzel wrap is amazing!

I might be slightly biased, since this cafe is just downstairs from our office, but the coffee is objectively delicious. Delightfully fresh and the perfect amount of bitter, especially on a flat white or long black. Very lovely staff and delicious food …
