This place has all the right elements to be amazing: tucked away on a side street just of High and Chapel St, graffiti all over the facade, a cute little alfresco bar along the street and quirky fittings throughout.… unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver. The operation appears to be a “one person does all”, from coffee to light meals. On this occasion, the dishes from the day an various food scraps were scattered across the counter, with a couple of very social flys hanging around.
I do wish people would stop using Vitasoy to make coffee… I can’t say I’ve had a good one to date.
So unfortunately Eugenius, didn’t deliver on this occasion, but I have a feeling it was an “off” day… so I’ll try again in a couple of weeks.

Macchiato was burnt, with an overabundance of milk froth crudely dumped on top. This cafe is very large, so the wait for both service and coffee was slow. Still, their tarts and other baked treats were quite tasty.
