Mezzalira Ristorante
The original restaurant run by the Trimboli family is sometimes outshone by the hype surrounding Italian and Sons, but I think the food here now is as good as it’s ever been. And complemented by a terrific, dense, viscous, creamy macchiato.
Had a delicious meal and half a bottle of red wine followed by an espresso that was a touch burnt but still tasty.

The coffee & typical café style dishes are pedestrian, with better alternatives available in nearby Garema Place. Otherwise, a nice view over the City Walk fountain and perhaps the most tranquil of Canberra Centre’s cafés.
