Newtown Social Club
I might be slightly biased, since this cafe is just downstairs from our office, but the coffee is objectively delicious. Delightfully fresh and the perfect amount of bitter, especially on a flat white or long black. Very lovely staff and delicious food round out the package.

Small and super cute 50’s-kitsch style café that serves excellent coffee and a decent range of simple breakfasts and treats. I enjoyed a particularly tasty pistachio sponge.
Great coffee - very strong-tasting blend, not soft and chocolatey like so many cafes prefer. Short blacks are super-short, and everything’s always served properly hot.
