The team behind Cream (in Civic) have opened their latest café/restaurant/bar in Manuka (on the corner where verve used to be).
The new fit-out is great. It’s got a semi-industrial vibe with unpolished floorboards and exposed steel beams. The windows open right up and there are hanging plants giving you a feeling of outdoors even when you’re sitting inside.
This (opening) morning all the staff were being taught how to operate the espresso machine and my latte was ok, though a little weak for my taste.
