Had lunch here on Sunday, it was busy but got a seat no problem. Respectable double ristretto piccolo, and nice food. I like the vibe of this place better than the other options nearby. It’s servings of eggs are enormous, so a good place to go with a hangover.
Might try here again during the week to see what it’s like to work here.
These guys do good coffee (Campos) but it’s expensive, not quick, and they do take themselves really very seriously. Food is average to good - servings can be enormous (share the big breakfasts) and they are just a bit too busy for my liking.
Seriously this place is up and down like a Yo-yo. Sometimes it can be great but sometimes it’s simply an atrocity. If you’re in the neighbourhood and you’re in need it’s worth it, but I wouldn’t go out of your way.
Also $3.80 is really rich for a coffee in Sydney.

Good food, ordinary coffee, and lacklustre service. Sit outside to enjoy cigarette smoke and the dulcet tones of buses. Not a bad spot to pick up a quick coffee and locally made muffin.
