The auction rooms
They take their coffee seriously here, and it shows. You can pay $5 if you want something fancy — say a single-origin siphon — and usually it’s excellent. Sometimes, however, these specialty coffees are just a bit too weird and wrong; one I had recently tasted rather sour (I drank it black, it’s can’t have been sour milk). I don’t think they stuffed up making the coffee, I think it’s just what those beans are like.
However when I stick to their standard house coffee it’s always been very good. That’s what I usually do now, no disappointments that way.
Nailed the coffee. Love the overflow option of drinking in on the median strip.
Best long mac ever? The offer a range of pour over coffee and filter. Amazing menu. One of my absolute favs.
Outstanding post-industrial space with a commitment to coffee and quality food. One of those places that nucleates other quality businesses around it, as evidenced by the frenetic renovations taking place across the street.
Good coffee, another venue who self roast. Menu is also good.
