The Outpost
Parked right in the front entrance to the Old Bus Depot Markets, The Outpost is not much more than a cart with an espresso machine and a few cakes. They served me a long black that was reasonably tasty, but insanely hot.
I’d only go there if the line is short—they’re not the quickest baristas in town though, to be fair, as I showed ordered they were delayed by a somewhat complex order from the person in front of me. The evidence against decaffeination mounts as I overheard the cashier say, “I hate decaf, it slows everything down.”
The coffee stand you’ll probably walk past when entering the Kingston Old Bus Depot markets, this place is actually worth a stop. Decent coffee to accompany you when you shop.
Open Sundays 10-4 along with the rest of the markets.

We found ourselves at the media day, were awarded a free crepe and a flat white and a long black. Both were smooth with no taste of bitterness. The old red caravan is parked out the front but the new accommodation at The Glassworks is excellent.

Don’t bother. Terrible service, cheerful enough staff but slow slow slow. We waited 25 minutes for our 2 coffees to arrive and 35 minutes for our food. I won’t be going back.
