Better known for it’s chocolate making skill, Koko Black does a decent job of serving up the espresso as well. I’ve also heard rumours the hot chocolate affogato is rather delicious.

Just around the corner from the hub of cafés at Garema Place, Dieci e Mezzo sits at the bottom of the new ActewAGL building, an office-building café unlike any other that I’ve visited in Canberra. It has the trappings of a fine restaurant: quality table…

I’ll often stop into Tonic when I’m in Civic and they haven’t let me down yet. Piccolos are always silky smooth and plenty of body.

Coffee has the right amount of bite in the mornings. Gas fire gives warmth and a warm atmosphere. Tom, Ellie, Kellie and Lisa are very lovely and natural people with a warmth of their own.
