Xchange on London
This place is under new management…the coffee however has not changed or if it has it has got worse.
To me, going to Xchange on London is a little like watching the Channel Nine news. You might flick channels to catch the sports results because its convenient but you end up getting frustrated at the lack of quality. Lots of gloss and little substance. Long black is passable.
I visited this large, aspirational restaurant/café during its usual morning rush of police and public servants. Despite the long backlog of takeaway orders, my coffee and banana bread were delivered quite promptly. Good thing to know for a place that is usually bustling. The coffee was delicious, perfectly warm and a little nutty. In fact, so was the banana bread. Perhaps my palate was swayed by the 150 pushups I did at 6am, but this was one of my best Canberra breakfasts of late.
