Brew Café
My soy chai latte was fine but a little bit too hot and my salad was alright. As for the service, I was seated straight away by the friendly waitress. Once I ordered my food came quickly but it was hard to get their attention at first.
I came for lunch, so it was fairly busy but it seems like the kind of place where you can always find a table or couch. Overall it was okay.
Brew Café is the much less imaginatively named successor to Red Belly Black. While their outdoor tables enjoy quite a fine aspect, looking out into the sheltered Hobart Place park, the café’s interior is rather dreary.
They did serve me a particularly nice macchiato, with good balance and separation between milk and espresso. Along with this I enjoyed a very well made pizza. There was a mix-up with our order and the management handled this with apologies and grace.
Not the greatest coffee in this part of the city, but worth a try if your looking to enjoy a sit-down lunch or meeting
