Excellent coffee supported by friendly and efficient service

This Kaldi café (they have many peppered around the city) serves a very well made espresso, but offers little of the verve or character of next-door Tonic. Still, it’s easy to see why they are popular during the morning rush of people ordering their takeaways.

A beautiful rich long black- and heated properly. One of the best in Canberra.

Reasonable flat whites, the hot chocolate is sickly sweet. Open late for all your carb-hunting needs.

Better known for it’s chocolate making skill, Koko Black does a decent job of serving up the espresso as well. I’ve also heard rumours the hot chocolate affogato is rather delicious.
