Pretty good…nice smooth double espresso.

Simply the best cup I’ve had in the city, and reasonably priced as well; Just about everything is less expensive than Starbucks, and so, so, so much better!

Actually a bookshop, as the name implies: the coffee here is not exemplary. Buy a book, get a not-bad-but-not-great coffee, schnarf some free wifi, and make awkward, furtive eye contact with adorable intelligent booknerds of your preferred gender.

Good coffee is very hard to find in NY, but Cafe Habana has it.

DBGBs is a serious brasserie - copper pots emblazoned with the names of famous chefs ring the ceiling - and they do everything well, including their espresso. Not a place for the faint of stomach, they serve rich, satisfying food with little regard for …

Exceptionally good coffee- probably the best I’ve had in NYC. Lovely, strong, slightly bitter espresso, and tiny milk jugs are used for any milk-based variations - always a good sign. It’s an unusual location to get your morning takeaway (a boutique sur…
