This was my local for about 5 years before I moved away. Always friendly staff serving up big breakfasts. Segafredo beans made for strong and consistently good coffee. The monkey junkie remains my all-time favourite coffee-vanilla-banana combo. Service can be haphazard when it’s busy, which is sadly when you want to be there.
Despite ordering double shot latte, Coffee came out cold and weak an hour and a half after ordering. Was the first time I have ever walked away without drinking an ordered coffee.
Food ordered, but never delivered.

An underwhelming experience. Grinders beans are usually safe, but this latte was served weak and warm. A hint of bitterness suggested over-extraction. They need to lift their game to compete in Newcastle’s coffee precinct.
