Ripper. Best coffee I’ve had in ages. A sister cafĂ© to St. Elmo, Targa share their staff, so make sure you time your caffeine seeking visit to either when the Italian-looking barista is behind the machine.

First time I’ve given a 5 star rating but the viennese coffee bean flat white I got was fabulously smooth and flavorsome. Again it seems to depend on the barista. The daytime barista who incidentally is very handsome (think mediterranean Ralphe Fiennes) is THE barista. The breakfasts are also very very yummy with quality ingredients and a little more thoughtful a breakfast menu compared to most of Byron’s other cafes. Service excellent.

A regular group of morning swimmers look forward to a coffee at the Beach Hotel. The coffee quality does depend on the barista on duty. Look for a small lady with longish blonde hair and she’ll serve up a good one any way you like it.

Respectable coffee, friendly service. Despite serving coffee in mugs (only if requested but still a travesty), they have great organic and local food options. Cooper’s Shoot tomatoes, Clunes bacon and Hayters Hill beef sausages.

Bad coffee, bad service, bad vibes. If I could I would give it half a star.

Coffee (flat white and long macchiato) at Byron Bay’s newest cafe was just how we like it - smooth flavour, not too much milk and perfect temperature (not too hot and not too cold). Accompanying breakfast was also one of the best tasted in this part of …

Served me a gigantic double-espresso while I sat in the rain. Smooth and well made, though not strong enough for my tastes.

Had a pretty average long black. The Girl said her machiatto was good, but she put two sugars in it so her opinion must be discarded immediatey.
