Espresso Citi
This has been one of my biggest coffee surprises of late. Set back from London Circuit in the foyer of an uninteresting coffee building, the only street presence that Espresso Citi enjoys is their blackboard promoting their $5.50 coffee & toasted sandwich special. This was enough to keep me from trying this place for a long while, given the number of other café options nearby.
When I finally gave them a shot, I was greeted with friendly, prompt service, a super cheap ($2.50), tasty and competently made macchiato, and a comfy couch on which to enjoy it. Espresso Citi doesn’t offer the finest of café atmosphere, but it is certainly a decent lunch option for those working in the area, and it turns out you needn’t worry about the coffee either.
