Dukes Coffee
Had some great coffee here and yummy foods. The Ethiopian AA siphon coffee was particularly good, the skinny cap I had before lunch was also one of the better coffees I’ve had in Melbourne. For lunch I can recommend the fish tacos. My wife had the chicken BLAT and enjoyed it immensely. Will visit again!
Ristretto was ok, not quite thick enough though, just ground a little coursely I think. The syphon however was fantastic; and the food is super nom if you’re into that kinda thing.
Always a great coffee here. They roast on the premises and always have 2 single origins to choose from. Great food too!
Great coffee. Cool spot. Can’t go past the bar at the window for crowd watching.
Boutique coffee house with a superior house blend (roasted on site), works fantastically with milky or black coffees. I was so impressed with the house blend I bought a bag of beans to use with my stove-top, and now have the wonderful aroma & flavour at home.
The knowledgable staff will also be able to describe the ins-and-outs of the single origins available for you, if that’s what you prefer.
Full array of breakfast, lunch & snacks, and they lay claim to probably the best breakfast in Melbourne: poached eggs, hommus & avocado spread on sourdough, with dukkah and honey-candied bacon (fresh from the onsite deli). Yum!
