They make a great cappuccino here. Pretty pricey, but worth it compared to the majority of other cafés in Tokyo that serve rubbish for coffee.

Tully’s is an out-and-out Starbucks clone, and this one is located in the large, sterile (but happily air-conditioned) foyer of an office tower, but they served me a remarkably respectable macchiato.

Unremarkable espresso presented with the great care and kindness typical of Japanese establishments. The coffee comes with some singular quirks: shots of espresso are accompanied by a tiny jar of cream, and cappuccinos include a cinnamon stick for flavour.
