This is by far my favourite café, period. Their coffee never fails to be a rich blend of awesome, and the food nothing short of an art form.

Their Eggs Benedict is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world - and I make a point of trying it in every city I go to in the western world, and it should be no wonder with locally sourced ingredients including Morpeth Sourdough, and in house hollandaise.

And then, their baristas - you’ll have to experience work of art yourself because this review box isn’t big enough to fit all the good words that describe their coffee.

Best coffee on Beaumont. Grinders done well. Never had a bad one. Foods reasonable too.

Coffees were great. Service was fast friendly and attentive. The collecter spoons with chocolate coated coffee veena was a nice touch.

The Mexican themed breakfast foods were top notch.

Serious coffee. Every time I’m here it’s full of wanker cyclists.

Salawi has very tasty coffee, lots of cool fair trade products to browse, a laid back atmosphere and a friendly owner. Oh, and a cute border collie pottering around.

An underwhelming experience. Grinders beans are usually safe, but this latte was served weak and warm. A hint of bitterness suggested over-extraction. They need to lift their game to compete in Newcastle’s coffee precinct.
