Gus’ Café
After some bad experiences in my formative years, I’d long avoided going to the Canberra institution that is Gus’ Café. I gave it another go the other day and was pleasantly surprised—the cups are still a little dirty, and the waiters’ still a little hopeless—but the coffee itself was pretty damn good.
One espresso and one ristretto. Both delicious.

From being told that we would need to make a booking to use our Living Social coupon, as not to hurt their “core business”, to the unavailability of menu items the whole meal was horrible.
